I've spent almost my whole life in a small town in Massachusetts, with one brief detour out to the Hartford, Connecticut area a while back. Massachusetts is home though, plain and simple, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
By day, I work at Head Start, a preschool program run through an anti-poverty agency. It's the kind of job that keeps you busy and keeps you grounded, and it's a big part of why I care so much about making things that bring a little joy into someone's day.
At home, things are anything but quiet. I married my amazing husband, David, in January 2024, and between the two of us we've got a house full of family: two daughters, a son, a grandson, and three stepkids in the mix, one of whom we're raising together full time. It's loud, it's a lot, and I wouldn't trade a second of it.
The shop actually started with something a lot simpler: shirts. That was the whole plan, honestly. But once we got going, it turned into a lot more than shirts. Character prints, crochet-style critters, home decor, pretty much whatever catches our eye and looks fun to make next. We never set out to become "crafters." It just kind of happened, and we haven't wanted to stop since.
Honestly, the best part of all of it is the people. We have so much fun making these pieces, and getting to create something special for a customer never gets old.
